For staff instructors
You're a staff instructor (co-instructor) — a team member your institution added to help build and run courses. This guide covers what you can do day to day. If you run the whole institution instead, see Set up your institution.
Signing in for the first time #
Your institution creates your account and you receive a welcome email with a temporary password. Sign in, set your own password, and we recommend turning on two-step verification straight away.
Your dashboard #
When you sign in, your home page is focused on your work:
- About you — your profile summary and a link to your public profile.
- About your institute — your institution's branding, contact details, and public page.
- Course overview — the courses assigned to you, with quick links to edit or open the builder.

You only see and work on the courses your institution assigns to you. If you need access to another course, ask your institution's master account to assign it.
Building courses & resources #
You have the full building toolset for your assigned courses:
- Create self-paced courses or live, instructor-led courses — see Building courses.
- Create programs made of cohorts, reorder them, and attach materials — see Programs & cohorts.
- Author quizzes (with AI-generated questions), coding exercises, assignments, polls, and embedded videos, then attach them as resource topics — see Quizzes, code & resources.
Live sessions #
Instructor-led courses use scheduled video meetings. You can run sessions for your batches and use polls live during a session to gather the group's input in real time. If your team needs more meeting capacity, your institution can request additional meeting licences.
Your public profile #
You have a public profile at /your-handle with your bio, areas of expertise, a LinkedIn link, and a personal meeting link. Keeping it current helps learners get to know you.
