Account and security

Keep your account up to date and protected. This page covers your profile settings, two-step verification, the record of sign-ins on your account, and how to reach support.

Profile & account settings #

From Account › Settings you can manage:

  • Your name, contact details, and address (with city suggestions based on your state)
  • Your profile photo or avatar
  • Your password
  • For instructors: your public handle, bio, expertise, and links

Two-step verification #

For extra protection you can turn on email-based two-step verification from your security settings. When it's on, signing in takes two steps:

  • Enter your email and password as usual.
  • Enter the six-digit code we email you to finish signing in.

The code is entered as separate single-digit boxes that advance automatically, and each code is valid for a short time.

If you get locked out

Entering the wrong code three times disables sign-in for that account. To recover, use Forgot password — resetting your password also turns two-step verification off so you can sign back in, then you can re-enable it.

Sign-in history #

For security, the platform keeps a record of sign-in and sign-out activity on accounts — including the time, the method used (password, two-step, or Google), and related details. This helps with accountability and spotting anything unusual.

Getting help #

Need a hand? Use the Support option in your account to send us a message. You'll get a confirmation with a ticket reference, and our team will follow up by email. You can reach support from any role on the platform.

Tip

Include as much detail as you can — what you were trying to do and what happened — so we can help you faster.
